Journey From Manali to Leh-Ladakh

Ladakh, one of the best places on earth and here you’ll get the pleasure of breathtaking landscapes, high altitude motorable passes, beautiful lakes and many Ghat (valley). the wonder of Ladakh can mesmerize you and bring you back again and again to this place. you’ll realize the unlimited variation of the mountains there. conjointly this place is known as many adventurous sports like biking, cycling, rafting and many more.

I was in Ladakh on July 2016 for twelve days. This tour was one among my best until date. This trip was simply memorable.

I have started my journey on 4th July from metropolis to Old Delhi. once reaching Old Delhi, I went for Manali. it was a 12-hour bus journey. the successive day was the resting day at Manali. On 4th July, I started the road trip to Leh. Our 1st stop was Sarchu. it’s almost 14,000 ft above the ocean level. I experienced a hypnotic night sky with the Milky Way Galaxy and billions of stars out there.

The next day, I travelled to Tsomoriri. it’s a lake placed almost 15000 ft higher than the ocean level. I stayed at a camp close to the Tsomoriri lake. completing one night there, the next day was our last day to reach Leh.

On sixth July I reached Leh, the heaven of Jammu and Kashmir. I stayed there for five days and in between, I visited Nubra valley and Pangong Tso.

During our road trip, we have crossed a number of the highest motorable mountain passes of the globe.

Ladakh could be a favourite place for photographers. You can’t miss something while you’re on a road trip. This went on to me also. I took nearly 8000 pictures on my 12-day trip. 5000 among them was for time-lapse photography.
